WooCommerce Product Page Redesign
A custom WooCommerce product page redesign focused on clearer product information, better buying flow, responsive layout, and improved customer decision-making.
Project overview
The store needed a better WooCommerce product page. The default layout did not present product details, gallery, price, stock, actions, and trust information in the clearest way.
The goal was to create a product page that felt more modern, easier to scan, and more useful for customers who needed to compare details before buying.
The problem
Many WooCommerce product pages show the right information but in the wrong order. Customers need clarity before they buy. If the product image, price, variation, delivery information, and call-to-action are not easy to understand, the page creates hesitation.
- The default product layout felt too basic.
- Important buying information was not easy to scan.
- The mobile experience needed improvement.
- The product gallery needed a cleaner structure.
- The buying section needed better hierarchy.
- Trust and support information needed better placement.
The goal
The goal was to redesign the WooCommerce product page so customers could understand the product faster and take action with more confidence.
The page needed to feel more structured without making the backend harder to manage.
The solution
I created a custom WooCommerce product page layout with improved visual hierarchy, responsive structure, clearer buying section, gallery improvements, and better placement of key product information.
The redesign focused on the real customer journey: view product, understand value, check price and options, trust the store, then add to cart or buy.
Key improvements I built
1. Clearer product information hierarchy
The page structure was reorganized so customers could quickly understand the product name, price, key details, buying options, and supporting information.
2. Better gallery layout
The product image area was improved so visuals felt more important and easier to browse. A strong gallery matters because customers often judge product quality from images before reading details.
3. Stronger buying section
The add-to-cart area was given better structure. Price, options, quantity, stock information, and action buttons needed to work together instead of feeling scattered.
4. Mobile responsive layout
The mobile layout was adjusted so users could scan the page naturally on smaller screens. Since many ecommerce visitors browse from mobile, the buying section needed to stay simple and accessible.
5. Trust and support elements
Useful support details were placed near the decision area. This helped reduce hesitation by making delivery, support, warranty, or service information easier to find.
6. WooCommerce template customization
The redesign was handled through WooCommerce template and theme-level customization, keeping the product data connected to WooCommerce instead of hardcoding the page manually.
My role
- Planned the product page layout
- Improved product information hierarchy
- Customized WooCommerce product templates
- Built responsive frontend styling
- Improved gallery and buying section structure
- Placed trust and support information more clearly
- Tested desktop and mobile product page behavior
Technical decisions
The product page was customized at the WooCommerce theme/template level so it could keep using product data from WooCommerce while presenting it in a better layout.
This approach kept the page maintainable and avoided turning each product into a manually designed static page.
- WooCommerce templates for product page structure
- PHP for dynamic WooCommerce output
- CSS for layout and responsive styling
- JavaScript for frontend interaction where needed
- Theme-level customization for maintainability
The result
The final product page became clearer, more modern, and easier for customers to use. Product information was presented in a stronger order, the buying section became easier to understand, and the mobile experience improved.
- Cleaner product page layout
- Better visual hierarchy
- Improved product gallery experience
- More focused buying section
- Better mobile usability
- WooCommerce data stayed dynamic and manageable
A better product page is not about decoration. It is about helping the customer understand, trust, and act faster.
